Foreigners Office of the District Mainz-Bingen

The Foreigners Office is responsible for residence and passport legal messures of foreign fellow citizens. In addition to asylum matters, the task of the authority includes the application for permits for study, work and family reunion. The office is not responsible for the processing of asylum applications - this is strictly reserved to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).
