Federal Office for Migration and Refugees

The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) cares for all matters of migration and integration in Germany. The office is responsible for the protection of refugees and support of integration. It carries out the asylum procedure of every person seeking asylum and decides on asylum applications.
